Xinhua WASHINGTON, D.C., 21 October 2021 The next prelaunch and launch activities for NASA’s SpaceX Crew-3 mission to the Space Stations with humans will be covered. This is the third crew rotation trip with humans onboard the SpaceX Space Station ship, and the agency’s Commercial Launch Program’s fourth journey with passengers, counting the Demo-2 test flight.
The launch time is set for 2:21 a.m. EDT Sunday, Oct. 31, aboard a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket launched from NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida’s Launch Complex 39A. At 12:10 a.m., the Crew Dragon Endurance is scheduled to dock with the Space Station.

The Crew-3 Flight will transport NASA Astronauts Raja Chari, Mission Manager; Tom Marshburn, Pilot; plus Kayla Barron, Mission Scientist, to the Space Station for a six-month science project, as well as ESA (European Space Agency) Astronaut Markus Maurer, who will serve as a leader of a team.

Date and Time of The Spacex Crew-3 Launch
On Saturday, October 30, at 2:43 a.m. Eastern time, the SpaceX Crew-3 mission will launch.It will launch from Launch Complex 39A at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida, aboard a Falcon 9 rocket. The agency also has a backup launch window on Sunday, October 31 at 2:21 a.m.
Crew-3 is part of SpaceX’s long-term objective of landing and recycling rocket boosters in order to minimise the cost of spaceflight.
That according NASA, its Falcon 9 propellant B1067 will be used for the flight.On June 3, this rocket launched on NASA’s 22nd Commercial Resupply Services mission, which used a cargo Dragon spacecraft to transfer supplies to the International Space Station.

Name Of Spacex Crew-3 Capsule, Date Of Launch
NASA’s future crewed trip to the International Space Station will employ a revamped Crew Dragon spacecraft, according to Spaceflight Now. The four-person crew has called the capsule Endurance for the mission, which is scheduled for October 30. The crew will no longer have to wait for one of SpaceX’s other two capsules to be refurbished.
That means the crew will launch fewer than two months after the Inspiration4 mission, the world’s first all-civilian space trip. NASA stated on September 30 that Crew-3 will launch on Saturday, October 30 at 2:43 a.m. Eastern time. It will be SpaceX’s fourth NASA crewed mission and its fifth total crewed mission.
Bottom line: NASA’s Commercial Crew programme was the catalyst for the development of the Crew Dragon spacecraft. When the space shuttle programme ended in 2011, NASA had to find new ways to get humans to the International Space Station. It rented seats on Russian Soyuz rockets departing from Kazakhstan’s Baikonur Cosmodrome. These seats, in addition to flying halfway around the world, cost roughly $80 million each.
